¿Es necesario instalar en tu pc un programa de ofimatica pesado y que solo utilizaras el 10% de todas sus funcionabilidades?. En lo personal digo Nop!.
Ya tenemos google docs, Zoho (mi favorito) y ahora Ulteo permite utilizar openoffice desde el navegador. Todos estos sin costo alguno.En lo que va el año he probado tanto docs de google como Zoho y aunque Zoho es superior no se descarta que para el 2008 recarge las baterias .
Que buena pinta tiene todo esto, siempre y cuando la productividad no se vea afectada.

Yo todavía tengo algunas dudas con estas aplicaciones...pero sin duda son un avance importante.
Por ejemplo, aca vas a depender de la conectividad, que aunque se ha hecho vital, no es algo que puedas garantizar, aun más en Panamá.
Yo en lo personal dependo aún de los "offices" instalable pero estoy seguro que el momento de prescindir de ellos está cerca.
Asi mismo es, el desktop app. aún no va a morir pero si van a tener bajar sus precios. Ojala!.
contras , Conectividad y nivel de productividad son los puntos que crean el cuello de botella.
Mientras que la ventaja más destacable es la "colaboración" poder compartir archivos, editar etc,
